Day 18
Living Knowledge
All This Is One Reality
Verse
All this is the Self alone.
There is nothing apart from it.
The world is not separate from the Self.
It is the Self appearing in many forms.
The teaching now comes to its fullest expression.
Until now, the inquiry has helped remove confusion: I am not the body. I am not the mind. I am the witness. The witness is not separate. The world depends on reality.
Now all of this comes together.
There is not one reality called the Self and another called the world.
There is only one reality.
What appears as the world is not separate from it.
Just as waves are nothing but water, just as ornaments are nothing but gold, all names and forms are nothing but the same underlying reality.
This includes everything: body, mind, others, objects, the entire universe.
Nothing stands outside this.
This is Advaita — not two.
Not one versus many. Not Self versus world.
Only one reality, appearing as many, but never actually divided.
This is not a new experience.
It is a shift in understanding.
Where there was separation, there is now clarity.
Where there was division, there is now wholeness.
Nothing new is gained.
Only the error of separation is removed.
Key Insight
Non-duality means there is no second reality apart from the Self. The world is not outside it.
Common Misunderstanding
This does not mean the world disappears. It means the world is understood as not separate from the Self.
Takeaway
There is no "other." All that is experienced is not separate from the one reality.
Reflection
When I look at the world, do I still see separate things, or do I begin to see one reality appearing in many forms?
Closing
What you are is not in the world. The world is in what you are.
This lesson presents the culmination of the teaching: everything is understood as non-separate from the Self.
Non-duality is the end of separation.
